Welcome to the Homestead

Hand to the Plough Homestead is a small, family owned and operated farm. We never imagined owning livestock or milking cows, but our own healing journey to nourish our children with the most nutrient dense food has led us here. We are passionate about producing as much of our own food supply as possible. We sell fresh eggs, raw milk, yogurt, kefir, cottage cheese, and ice cream. We also occasionally offer sourdough bread, jams, and baked goods.

Opal is a registered Milking Shorthorn currently giving 2.5-3.0 gallons a day. She is a good mother who generously calf shared with us while raising her June 2025 heifer, Ruby. Ruby will be staying on the farm as a second milk cow. We look forward to supplying more milk to the local community.

Our farm store is a self-serve setup in our garage. We accept cash or Venmo payments. Please help yourself to any of the free pamphlets with information from the Weston A. Price foundation about raw milk and traditional nutrition.
